Sign in and manage your account

Overview

You sign in to ArchFoundry with Google, GitHub, or an email address and password. Your account belongs to one organization, which holds your diagrams, connected accounts and deployments. This guide covers signing in, resetting a password, and the settings that are yours alone.

Steps

  1. Go to app.archfoundry.ai/login.
  2. Click Continue with Google or Continue with GitHub, or enter your Email and Password and click Log in.
  3. To stay signed in on this device, tick Keep me signed in on this device before logging in. If you opened a link to a page in the app while signed out, you are asked to log in first and then taken to that page.
  4. Forgot your password? Click Forgot password?, enter your email, and click Send reset link. Open the email and choose a new password. Changing it signs out every device.
  5. To see your account, click Settings in the workspace sidebar, then the Account tab. It shows your name, email and organization. Click Log out to sign out. You are taken to the ArchFoundry website, and the Back button does not return you to the app.
  6. To change your name, photo, company or how you work, open the Profile tab, edit the fields and click Save changes. Only the workspace owner can rename the company. See Set up your account and profile.
  7. To change how ArchFoundry looks, open the Appearance tab. Under Theme, choose Follow the system, Light or Dark. Under Panels, switch the Canvas minimap and Archie docked in the workspace on or off.

Example

The sign-up form asks for these fields, if you use email instead of Google or GitHub:

Change <your-email> to your own address. The company or team name becomes your organization's name.

Verify it worked

  • After logging in, you land in your workspace with your diagrams where you left them.
  • After a password reset, the log in page says your password is changed and every device was signed out.

Troubleshooting

That sign-in didn't complete. Google or GitHub sign-in was interrupted. Try again, or use your email and password.

Single sign-on is not set up for ArchFoundry yet. Use Google, GitHub or your email.

Your email is not confirmed. The log in page offers Send a new link. Open the email and click the link, then log in.

Send again in a few seconds. Links are rate limited. Wait for the countdown before asking for another.

That link didn't work. A reset or confirmation link expires and works once. Ask for a new one.
